Synthesis, characterization, and antibacterial activities of Cu-Ag bimetallic oxide nanocomposites using <i>Eichhornia crassipes</i> aqueous leaf extract

Green synthesis of bimetallic oxide nanocomposite with leaf extract Eichhornia crassipes (1) is attracted much in recent researchers. The as-synthesized CuO/Ag2O/Ext (2) and CuO/Ag2O NCPs (3) were characterized by UV-Vis, FT-IR, SEM, XRD, TGA. disc diffusion method was used to assess the antibacterial potential (1), (2), against a total four human pathogens bacteria. S. aureus epidermides growth inhibitory effect range 6.3 ± 0.33 mm, 26 0.58 30 23 0.15 mm 6.7 22.3 0.88 26.3 28 for (3), respectively. Whereas, E. coli K. pneumonia showed 7.00 26.7 29.3 22.7 27.3 25 25.7 27 XRD technique confirmed nano-size structure (D = 33.41 nm 28.22 nm, respectively).
